Formed in New York City in 1988, the band moved into a shared house in Ossining in 1991 that they called the Great Northern, later Lo Faber's home recording studio. Faber and Aaron Maxwell play guitar and sing, with Dan Pifer on bass, Jon Bevo on keyboards and Tom Osander on drums. Records include Bag (1992), $1.99 Romances (1994) and This Fine Town (2019). They broke up in 1999 and have played again since 2009.
