Magic Tuber Stringband Hudson Valley Tickets and Upcoming Shows

Magic Tuber Stringband has 1 upcoming show in the Hudson Valley, starting Fri, December 11, 2026.

An old-time string band from Durham, North Carolina, with Courtney Werner on fiddle, Evan Morgan on guitar and Mike DeVito, switching instruments to suit each tune. Thrill Jockey signed them in 2023 and released Needlefall, their fourth full-length, in 2024. They set Appalachian fiddle tunes against sustained drones and field recordings drawn from Werner's background in ecology, and brought in local players including saxophonist Crowmeat Bob.
