Sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith started this group in Atlanta in 2005, trading banjo, fiddle, kalimba and washboard behind their two voices, with Arouna Diarra on ngoni and balafon, Biko Casini on djembe and Duncan Wickel on cello and fiddle. Leah coined the Slow Music Movement, which ties shows to regional farmers and local nonprofits. They self-release; Leylines came out in 2019 and Folk & Anchor in 2024.
