Bruce Katz Band
Hammond B3 and piano work from a bandleader who moved to Woodstock in 2005, founded this group in 1991 and taught at Berklee from 1996 to 2010. He played in Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, then Gregg Allman and Friends from 2007 to 2013, and recorded Connections at Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia. The trio adds Aaron Lieberman of God Street Wine on guitar and John Medeiros Jr. on drums.
Why The Falcon: A riverside room in Marlboro running donation-based shows nearly nightly, with real jam-scene pedigree.
