Forever Muscle Shoals: Chrissi Poland & Friends
A soul singer and multi-instrumentalist from southern Massachusetts, now based in New York, who spent over a decade singing with Stax veteran Sam Moore and has worked with Mavis Staples, Nile Rodgers, Bette Midler and Moby. This show draws on Forever Muscle Shoals, her August 2026 album cut live at FAME Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound, reworking songs tied to Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Bob Dylan.
Why The Local: A tiny all-ages listening room whose booking punches far above its size, from Ukrainian folk to jazz trailblazers.
