Ian Hendrickson-Smith's Christmas Blues Band
A holiday show led by the saxophonist who has played alto, tenor, baritone and flute in The Roots, the house band on The Tonight Show, since 2014, and spent 2004 to 2010 in Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. Trained at Manhattan School of Music, he has backed Amy Winehouse, Al Green and Dr. Lonnie Smith and records as a leader for Cellar Live.
Why The Falcon: A riverside room in Marlboro running donation-based shows nearly nightly, with real jam-scene pedigree.
