The Nth Power
Funk, soul, jazz and gospel that came out of a 2012 New Orleans Jazz Fest after-hours jam, with drummer Nikki Glaspie, who played with Beyonce and Dumpstaphunk, bassist Nate Edgar of John Brown's Body, guitarist Nick Cassarino, keyboardist Nigel Hall of Lettuce and percussionist Weedie Braimah on djembe. The EP Basic Minimum Skills Test arrived in 2013, and the album Abundance, recorded at the Music Shed in New Orleans, in 2015.
