The Raul Midón Experience
Blind since infancy and raised in Embudo, New Mexico, Midon sings and plays guitar and solos on mouth trumpet. He studied jazz at the University of Miami, sang sessions for Shakira and Jose Feliciano, then put Stevie Wonder and Jason Mraz on his 2005 major label debut and sang on Herbie Hancock's Possibilities. Two Grammy nominations for best jazz vocal album; recent records are The Mirror in 2020 and Lost and Found in 2024.
