Lez Zeppelin: The Song Remains The Same 50th Anniversary
An all-female Led Zeppelin band formed in New York in 2004, with Steph Paynes on guitars and theremin, Dana Athens singing, Joan Chew on bass and keyboards and Hilary Blaze on drums and gong. Eddie Kramer produced their 2007 debut, and Lez Zeppelin I recreated the 1969 first album on vintage analog gear. This show marks the 50th anniversary of The Song Remains the Same.
Why Colony: From Dylan-era folkies to today's indie acts, everyone passes through this 1929 art-deco landmark, and the tree-lit back garden is one of the best summer hangs in town.
